The Haj Committee of India, commonly known as the Central Haj Committee (CHC), has been established under the Haj Committee Act 2002, for making arrangements for the pilgrimage of Muslims for Haj, and for matters connected therewith.

Haj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, and a mandatory religious duty for Muslims that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by all adult Muslims who are physically and financially capable of undertaking the journey, and can support their family during their absence. It is one of the five pillars of Islam, alongside Shahadah, Salat, Zakat, and Sawm.

The gathering during Haj is considered the largest annual gathering of people in the world. Hajis are guests of Allah.

Our aim is to have the honour of serving the guests of Allah and assisting each and every pilgrim to have a comfortable and safe journey.

Our mission is to achieve the best services to the pilgrims by planning and management. We achieve our goal by working with proper teamwork and to smoothen the journey of every pilgrim year by year.

The main objective of Haj Committee is to facilitate and organise all aspects of Haj. Dedicated volunteers with a wealth of experience accompany the group and serve Hujjaj throughout this Holy journey.
